Nokia Boss Unloading Strategy to Fight Android & iPhone
Las Vegas – Nokia began aggressively selling smartphone with operating system Windows Phone 7. Nokia’s CEO, Stephen Elop also reveal some strategies for successful Windows Phone, particularly in the fight against the iPhone and Android.
Elop especially its opinion Android is too fragmented or fragmented with so many handsets and customization. So some applications are sometimes less able to work well in between the handset with one another.
“We do not want to happen in the fragmentation of Windows Phone as we begin to see in another ecosystem fragmentation has become a problem,” said Elop.
Elop also promised though Nokia will add exclusive features in Windows Phone homemade mobile phone, will ensure all applications work smoothly. On the other hand, the priority is to distinguish ourselves with Nokia Android and iPhone.
“Our first priority is to distinguish the experience of the use of Android and iPhone. Our main challenge is ensuring consumer attention to products, understand the user experience on Live Tiles and all the things that make Windows Phone like that,” he added.
Elop rate had to be educated consumers about the Windows Phone OS that may not have been familiar. Especially in the form of presentation of the menu boxes or the Live Tiles.
“The point is that we educate the consumer about the box, because out there people are more familiar with the row of application icons that do not do anything. No life and does not display information (such as live-red tiles)” Elop said.
Elop believes if education goes well, then Windows Phone will gain momentum. Similarly, as quoted from Pocket Link, Tuesday (01/24/2012).[]
