Sony & Fujifilm Vie for Olympus

Tokyo, Japan – Two major companies, Sony and Fujifilm, is rumored to compete for the takeover of Olympus. It is a further round of scandals that befall Olympus and their efforts in improving the ‘kitchen’ company.

“Sony has tried to integrate the software, content and hardware to create a network of entertainment. Unfortunately, Apple has been entered in this market, so no matter how Sony tried, he stays at number two,” said analyst Nobuo Kurahashi of Mizuho Investors Securities.

“If this is not detrimental to Sony, then they are definitely interested in getting in the medical field that was involved Olympus,” added Nobuo, as quoted by Reuters on Tuesday (24/01/2012).

Besides Sony, Fujifilm has also been mentioned Olympus is trying to grab attention. Some other names that are not less flashy, too prominent to enliven the competition, such as Panasonic and Samsung.

Although known as a camera company, but actually Olympus also successful as a manufacturer of medical devices. I wonder who will win this competition, but this decision will not happen overnight given the management ranks of Olympus is still not stable.[]

3 Simple Steps To Speed Up Your Website
In a time full of tweets, youtube videos, Facebook updates, and more, it can be pretty hard to keep visitors interested long enough to deliver value.

Although there are many other techniques, here is a simple 3 step plan to speed up your website:
  1. Monitor your analytics using tools like Google analytics, or Yahoo's Y Slow plugin, and figure out your current speed.
  2. If you have a lot of images, be sure to keep them at a smaller size.
  3. Use caching to make it easier for your web server to serve your site up to visitors, especially those new to your site. If you're on Wordpress, check out WP Super Cache.
